Retirement

In 1984 RM died and it was at this time that Pat left Philpots.  She did not give up work altogether but over the course of the next seven years played the piano for Eurythmy at the Centre for Social Development, taught painting for the teachers training course at Rudolf Steiner House, took art therapy sessions at the Raphael Centre and taught remedial English at Michael Hall, establishing the Remedial Department there.  She taught remedial English at home until she was 80.
